New Feel

Get ready for a new look and feel to Outdoor Savages.
Lately, I have not had much time to create the blog i felt was a clear window to view our adventures through.  Most of the time i would  post after a long morning of fishing and before i went to work.  I was not afforded much time to craft a post worthy of your time.  Here is a sneak peak of the new Outdoor Savages.

Content:  Rather than posting my daily feelings i will only publish a post allowing you to follow along with our trips.  More detail about conditions, attitudes, and gear will be evident.  I may not post as much, but the posts will be of better quality.

Spelling:  I have always had an informal attitude towards the Internet.  Weather i am writing an email or publishing a post on blogspot, i just never felt that spelling was that important on the Internet.  Maybe this bad habit came for using AOL Instant Messenger all those years.   My attitude has since changed as i want to publish a blog that paints a picture into our outdoor trips.  Thank you for hanging in there with my less than great proof reading skills.  I will be making an effort to limit the spelling mistakes.

Pictures:  I am a Picture man.  I feel that Pictures tell the story best.  Good photos will give you a sense of what is going on in the story, and a feeling of being there.  Pictures can also be the best way to illustrate an idea.  I am going to try and add pictures that are of top notch quality.  I have to say getting great pictures by your self is not easy, but i will do my best to deliver.

Now that i finally have time to spare i can make the changes that i wanted to implement for a long time.    I feel that the following changes will only make your reading experience better.     In the near future, the Savages have some adventures coming up that include: hiking, bottom fishing, camping, and a host of other savage like activities.

  3. Looking forward to the change savage. I've been toying around with modifying my blog as well but not sure how yet. I'm hoping to do some live updates from the field this season for certain and many more pictures as well.

    Keep it up.
