65 Degrees With a Chance of Clams

Holy Smokes!  Could the Weather have been any better in Connecticut today?  No Way!
I recently had some engine tuning done to my boat and thought today would be an excellent day to give it a run, and while out there did a few clams.
After launching the boat and running, with out any problems, we reached the clam beds in 15 minutes.  The day went as planned.  Jan and I were able to rake up a basket of clams and enjoy the weather.  On the way back we ran into the Migration of Old Squaw.  The boat must have kicked up 500-800 birds they were every where.  Talk about a moment to take it all in!
Dinner was stuffed clams made by Jan's wife and after the stuffers we opened a bunch on the grill Jan's wife melted some butter for dipping.  Her butter has garlic and fresh herbs cooked in too.

    1. the stuffed clams were perfect. Sometimes you get them at an eatery and its all bread crumbs, not these.

    1. Sorry to make you hungry with lunch time that far out. Clams for breakfast? I can't see anything wrong with it.
